The new musical Triassic Parq begins performances June 12 at off-Broadway's SoHo Playhouse. Written by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steve Wargo and directed by Pailet, Triassic Parq officially opens on June 27. The limited engagement concludes August 5.
Triassic Parq stars Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Lysistrata Jones, Hairspray), Brandon Espinoza (Gypsy, Les Miserables), Alex Wyse (Lysistrata Jones, Lost in Yonkers) and Shelley Thomas (Brooklyn the Musical). The production also features Wade McCollum, Claire Neumann and Lee Seymour.
Combining singing, sex and Velociraptors in ways previously unimagined, the musical follows a group of cloned dinosaurs as they unearth the very foundations of their existence. Morality, faith, science, gender identity and interspecies fornication are all explored and sung about.
The show features choreography by Kyle Mullins, musical direction by Zak Sandler, scenic design by Caite Hevner and assistant direction by Nora Ives.
